Checking the Basics
Is the Service Running?

Can You Access the Service Locally?
Another basic check is to verify that you can access the service from within the local network. For example, if you are trying to access a web server running on a laptop, try opening a web browser on the laptop and navigating to http://localhost:80443 or http://127.0.0.1:80443. If you can access the service locally, but not from outside the network, then the issue is likely related to port forwarding.
Router Configuration
Check the External Port
One common issue with port forwarding is that the external port number specified in the router configuration does not match the port number that the service is listening on. For example, if the web server on the laptop is listening on port 80443, then the external port number in the router configuration should also be set to 80443.
Check the Internal IP Address
Another issue with router configuration is that the internal IP address of the target device may have changed. For example, if the laptop is assigned a dynamic IP address by the DHCP server in the router, then the IP address may change if the lease expires. In this case, you will need to update the internal IP address in the router configuration.
Check the DMZ Setting
If you have configured the laptop as the DMZ host in the router, then all incoming traffic will be forwarded to the laptop. However, this may not be necessary if you only want to forward traffic for a specific service. In this case, it is better to use manual port forwarding.
Firewall Configuration
Check the Firewall Rules
If the service is running and the router is configured correctly, but you still cannot access the service, then the issue may be related to the firewall on the target device. Make sure that the firewall allows incoming traffic on the port that the service is listening on.
Temporarily Disable the Firewall
