Installing NAPS2

Before getting started, download and install the NAPS2 software from the official website here. Make sure to select the appropriate version for your operating system.

Setting Up a Scanning Profile with "NativeUI"

Once you have installed NAPS2, follow these steps to set up a new scanning profile using the "NativeUI" option:

1. Launch NAPS2, click on the "Profiles" button in the bottom left corner of the window, and then select "New Profile".
2. In the "New Profile" window, enter a name for your profile in the "Display Name" field and choose your scanner from the "Device" dropdown list. For the Canon TS3300, make sure the correct scanner model is selected under "Canon ScanGear MP" or "Canon Scan Utility".

2. Place the document in the scanner and press the "Scan" button on the NAPS2 interface. The document will be scanned, and the resulting PDF will be saved to your preferred destination and opened in your default PDF viewer.
