Accessing the Advanced BIOS Menu for Overclocking on Lenovo Z510

The Lenovo Z510 laptop, like many other computers, has a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) menu that allows users to change system settings and configurations. However, the regular BIOS menu may not provide access to advanced settings such as overclocking. To access these advanced settings, you need to enter the advanced BIOS menu.

Enabling the Advanced BIOS Menu

To enable the advanced BIOS menu on your Lenovo Z510, follow these steps:

1. Restart your computer and press the F2 key repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS menu.
2. Once in the BIOS menu, navigate to the "Security" tab using the arrow keys.

11. Navigate to the "Setup" tab and select "System Configuration".
12. Enable "Advanced Boot Menu", "USB Keyboard Support" and "Network Boot".
13. Save your changes and exit the BIOS menu.

Now that you have enabled the advanced BIOS menu, you can access the overclocking settings on your Lenovo Z510.

Accessing the Overclocking Settings

To access the overclocking settings on your Lenovo Z510, follow these steps:

1. Restart your computer and press the F2 key repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS menu.
2. Enter the supervisor password you set.
3. Navigate to the "Setup" tab and select "Performance".
4. Select "Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology".
5. Set the "Processor Base Frequency" to the desired value.
6. Set the "Max Turbo Frequency" to the desired value.
7. Save your changes and exit the BIOS menu.
