Question and Answer
Question
I'm using the latest version of Windows, Microsoft 365 Apps (enterprise, updates are automatic). I've created 30+ rules in Outlook.rules (similar to based on sender, assign category...)
Answer
To create and manage rules in Outlook, follow these steps:
- Open Outlook and click on the "File" tab.
- Select "Manage Rules & Alerts" from the left-hand menu.
- Click on the "New Rule" button.
- Choose the type of rule you want to create (e.g., based on the sender, apply a specific action...).
- Configure the settings for your rule and click "Next" to continue.
- On the next screen, you can choose additional conditions and actions for your rule, if necessary. Click "Next" when you're finished.
- Give your rule a name and click "Finish" to save it.
Remember, Outlook rules can help you manage your email more efficiently by automatically organizing, moving, or deleting messages based on specific criteria.
