Installing Windows 10 on MVMe old PC without BIOS modification and without a not removable external USB drive

Prerequisites

Before we begin, make sure you have the following:

• An MVMe Old PC with an empty partition for Windows 10 installation
• A valid Windows 10 installation media (ISO file)
• A USB drive with at least 8GB of free space for creating a bootable USB drive
• A working internet connection

Creating a Bootable USB Drive

Follow these steps to create a bootable USB drive:

1. Insert the USB drive into your computer.
2. Download and install the Rufus tool from https://rufus.ie/.
3. Launch Rufus and select the USB drive from the device list.
4. Choose the Windows 10 ISO file as the source.
5. Select the UEFI partition scheme and the NTFS file system.
6. Click the "Start" button to create the bootable USB drive.

Installing Windows 10

Follow these steps to install Windows 10:

1. Restart your MVMe Old PC and press the key to enter the UEFI/BIOS setup (usually F2, F10, or F12).
2. Navigate to the "Boot" menu and set the USB drive as the first boot device.
3. Save and exit the UEFI/BIOS setup.
4. Press any key to boot from the USB drive.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Windows 10 setup.
6. During the setup process, you will be asked to select the partition where you want to install Windows 10. Make sure to select the empty partition on your MVMe Old PC.

Activating Windows 10

After installing Windows 10, you will need to activate it:

1. Go to the "Activation" page in the Settings app.
2. Click on the "Change product key" link.
3. Enter your valid Windows 10 product key.
4. Click "Next" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.
