Adding a Background Image in Okular

To add a background image in Okular, follow these steps:

1. Open the document in Okular.
2. Go to Settings > Configure Okular.
3. In the Configure Okular window, go to the General tab.
4. Under the Background section, click on the Add Image button.
5. Select the image file you want to use as the background and click Open.
6. The image will now be set as the background for the document.

You can also adjust the scaling, positioning, and opacity of the background image using the options provided in the Background section.

Adding a Signature in Okular

To add a signature in Okular, follow these steps:

1. Open the document in Okular.
2. Go to Tools > Annotations > Signature.
3. In the Signature window, you can either draw your signature using a drawing tablet or a mouse, or you can load an existing signature image by clicking on the Load Image button.
4. Once you have created or loaded your signature, click OK.
5. The signature will now be added to the document. You can move and resize it using the handles that appear around it.

If you have a certificate generated using OpenSSL, you can use it to sign the document. However, the signature in Okular is a visual representation, not a cryptographic one. It is recommended to use a PDF editor such as Adobe Acrobat for cryptographic signatures.
