Problem: Assembling Hardware RAID 1 Drive after Changing Motherboard
After assembling a Hardware RAID 1 drive and changing the motherboard, RaidXpert2 continues to scan the drive without showing up in Windows Device Manager. After several restarts, one of the following issues occurs:
Issue 1: Drive not recognized
The RAID 1 array is not recognized by the system, and no drives are shown in Windows Device Manager.
Issue 2: Drive shows up as offline
The RAID 1 array shows up in Windows Device Manager, but it is marked as offline.
Possible Solutions:
1. Ensure that the new motherboard supports the RAID controller and firmware version.
2. Update the RAID controller firmware to the latest version.
3. Reinstall the RAID controller drivers.
4. Check the RAID controller settings and ensure that the RAID 1 array is enabled.
5. If the issue persists, try rebuilding the RAID 1 array from scratch.
