Shortcuts used yesterday disappeared from Start menu (empty)
Although creating new shortcuts is easy, arranging the order wanted is not possible when the shortcuts used yesterday have disappeared from the Start menu.
Possible solutions:

Check if the shortcuts are still in the "AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" folder. If they are, move them to the "AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" folder to have them appear in the Start menu automatically.

Restart your computer and check if the shortcuts reappear. Sometimes, this can solve the problem.

Run the "Clean up system files" feature in the Settings app. This can help to clear temporary files that might be causing the issue.
