To access the Synology NAS that is not connected to the same network as your access router, you can follow these steps to set up a connection:

Prerequisites

Ensure your Synology NAS and access router are connected to different networks.
Know the Synology NAS's local IP address.
Know the port number used for QuickConnect (default is 5000).

Steps to Connect

Open a web browser on the computer that is connected to the same network as the access router.
In the address bar, enter the QuickConnect address, which is in the format quickconnect.to/<your NAS ID>. Replace <your NAS ID> with the unique identifier of your Synology NAS.

If you've changed the port number, append it to the QuickConnect address, like this: quickconnect.to/<your NAS ID>:<port number>.
If the connection is successful, you'll be redirected to the Synology NAS web interface.
