Step 1: Check for Multiple Drive Letters
To check for multiple drive letters, you can open Disk Management by pressing Win + X and selecting Disk Management. Ensure that the same folders or partitions are not assigned multiple drive letters. If they are, you can change the drive letter of one of them to avoid the duplicate entries. To change the drive letter, right-click on the drive, and select Change Drive Letter and Path. Choose a new letter and click OK.
Step 2: Clear the Windows Search Index
Clearing the Windows Search Index can help resolve duplicate entries caused by the search index synchronizing multiple times. You can do this by searching for Indexing Options in the Start Menu and clicking on the result. In the Indexing Options dialog, click the Advanced button and then click Rebuild. This will rebuild the search index, which may take some time depending on the size of your hard drive.
