Procedure:
Run Task Scheduler
To manage another user's Task Scheduler on a Windows 11 system, you need to enable Remote Desktop and set up the connection. Here's how:
Step 1: Enable Remote Desktop on Desktop 2
1. Open the Start menu and search for "Remote Desktop Connection."
2. Click on the "Remote Desktop Connection" app to open it.
3. In the "Computer" field, enter the IP address or hostname of Desktop 1.
4. Click the "Show Options" button.
5. Under the "Display" tab, check the "Allow me to choose a different size" option.
6. Click "OK" to save the settings.
7. Click the "Connect" button to initiate the Remote Desktop session.
8. Enter the username and password of the user account on Desktop 1, and click "OK."
Step 2: Grant Remote Desktop Permissions
1. On Desktop 1, open the Start menu and search for "System Properties."
2. Click on "System Properties" to open the window.
3. Go to the "Remote" tab.
4. Check the "Allow remote connections to this computer" option.
5. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
Manage Task Scheduler
Now that you have successfully connected to Desktop 2 remotely, you can manage its Task Scheduler:
Step 3: Open Task Scheduler
1. On Desktop 2, open the Start menu and search for "Task Scheduler."
2. Click on "Task Scheduler" to open the app.
Step 4: Manage Tasks
You can now create, edit, or delete tasks on Desktop 2's Task Scheduler just like you would on your local machine.
