Streamlining Team Calls in Microsoft Teams: Fewer Steps
Microsoft Teams is a powerful collaboration platform that enables teams to communicate and work together more efficiently. One of the key features of Microsoft Teams is the ability to conduct team calls. However, the process of setting up and conducting team calls can be cumbersome and time-consuming. In this article, we will explore how to streamline team calls in Microsoft Teams by reducing the number of steps required.
Opening Microsoft Teams
The first step in conducting a team call in Microsoft Teams is to open the application. This can be done by clicking on the Microsoft Teams icon in the start menu or by searching for it in the search bar.

Once Microsoft Teams is open, the next step is to join a team call. This can be done by clicking on the appointment in the calendar and then clicking on the “Join” button. Alternatively, you can join a team call by navigating to the team channel and clicking on the “Join” button in the conversation window.

Before starting the team call, it is important to configure the audio and video settings. This can be done by clicking on the three dots in the bottom left corner of the screen and selecting “Settings”. From there, you can choose your audio and video devices, as well as adjust the video quality and other settings.

Once the team call is over, it can be ended by clicking on the “Hang Up” button in the call window. This will close the call window and return you to the main Microsoft Teams screen.
