According to Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft, "Almost 30 years ago, we introduced the Windows keyboard on the PC, allowing people around the world to interact with Windows. We consider this to be another transformative moment in our journey with Windows, where Copilot will serve as the entry point to the world of AI on the PC."
Copilot, the AI assistant for Windows 11, will be located on the right side of the keyboard, replacing the menu key. The goal is to make AI ubiquitous in our PC experience, and even when Copilot is not available, users can still access Windows search.
The first stop for this new technology is the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where we can expect to see the Copilot keyboard on many new Windows 11 PCs from Microsoft's ecosystem partners, available from the end of February to spring.
