Android continues to add updates following the December Pixel Feature Drop. This doesn't mean that Google is resting, on the contrary, they are already preparing Android 14 QPR2 - with its second beta arriving today - while the rest of the manufacturers work to update all their devices. From this latest version, which will be available to everyone in March next year, some new features have been extracted. One that stands out is the 'Private Space', a utility that will be included in Google's operating system to allow us to hide applications. Let's see how it will work.
A Native Function to Bid Farewell to Apps
It is normal that over the years, the operating system gains various functions, some of which may be basic but have a certain appeal among users. There are launchers that fulfill this task, allowing us to remove applications from the app drawer, and even apps that do the same. However, all of them will become obsolete with the native function, named 'Private Space'.

Despite this, it will be possible to choose another method solely to unlock the 'Private Space' (useful if someone knows our PIN or pattern). However, it is unknown when this feature will be available, but it seems that we will have to wait until next year when Android 15 is released.
